The New Bill Doesn’t Mention Players
Most online casino players are just the run-of-the-mill average Joe who likes to spend a couple of hundred a year at online gambling sites. In polls run before the bill was passed, an overwhelming majority of the American public voted to legalize or regulate online gambling. Only a tiny majority was in favor of banning it altogether.
The new bill does NOT mention the fact that online casino gamblers are prohibited from playing at these sites. The general feeling in the legal community is that online gamblers are not at risk if they bet at these sites.
Of course, gamblers need to check the laws and regulations in their region to ensure that they are not breaking any laws when they play online.
